On Monday, the Hagerstown Police Department announced that Brian Christopher Francis, 41, was apprehended in Morrisville, NC without incident and brought back to Maryland, where he was wanted in connection to an apartment shooting over the summer.
Also known as "Fox," or "Silk," Francis was charged in the District Court for Washington County in Maryland on 13 charges in August that include murder and attempted murder, and a federal arrest warrant was issued days later in Baltimore when he was accused of unlawfully avoiding prosecution.
The charges stem from an incident in an apartment on Brinker Drive in late July, where two people were found shot in the residence, one of whom died and another who suffered serious injuries.
Francis had been considered "armed and dangerous" until his arrest last month. He was brought back to Washington County on Wednesday, Dec. 27.
No details about his pending court appearance were released by the police.
